SA Power Networks is looking for up to 20 businesses of different sizes, with and without solar panels, to be part of a Panel process known as the People’s Panel. Feedback received from the Panel will help inform SA Power Networks about how the costs of households and businesses feeding solar into the grid (export tariffs) should be shared fairly.

This is your opportunity to be the voice of business and help determine how the costs of solar feed in should be shared by all users including businesses.  It is vital that the voice of different business types is heard and taken into consideration in this decision.

SA Power Network’s commitment is that it will include in full the arrangements that are determined by the Panel for transitioning to export tariffs in its pricing proposal to the regulator.

The Panel will meet on the Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 March 2023, and commitment for the full two days is required. A briefing session facilitated by democracyCo will be held on 20 February at 7.00pm.

During the sessions on the 4and 5 March 2023 you will be briefed about export tariffs and participate in deliberative conversations with other businesses and members of the community to agree on the best approach for staging the introduction of the tariffs.

SA Power Networks will compensate participants for their time and will provide an honorarium to help compensate for any costs you incur through your participation. Travel and accommodation requirements for regional and remote businesses will also be covered.
